Facebook UNESCO has replaced the cover photo with a picture of Thailand’s Nora with the message WeAreLivingHeritage. To raise global awareness of the living cultural heritage.

Manohra  dance drama in the south Inscribed in 2021 on the list of representatives of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. It is a lively form of improvised dance and singing performances. from southern Thailand Performances usually consist of singing a long poem. This is followed by a presentation by lead characters who dance with strong and elaborate leg, arm and finger movements. Performances are often based on the past lives of Buddhas or mythological heroes. The band plays high-tempo and fast-paced songs. with a native bagpipe from the south as the melody and strong rhythm played by drums, gongs, cymbals and claps.
