The following interview is a real interview from a Thai customer in Norway who has been living there for about 12-13 years. She intends to purchase a house in Thailand for convenience during her vacations.
Which country are you in?
I am in Norway.
How long have you been living abroad, and what is your profession?
I’ve been abroad for 12-13 years, working as a cleaner for a government agency.
What do you like about Norway?
I like the nature, beauty, and the abundance of salmon to eat.
Can you please let us know what type of loan you are applying for? Is it for buying a house, building a house, or a condominium?
I’m applying for a home.
How did you learn about our project?
I learned about it through my relative and received recommendations from bank staff. I was a member of Sun Gateways back in 2016-2017 but discontinued. Online services were not convenient at that time. In 2023, the staff contacted me. After that, the process was fast, and I received the house in less than a year.
Why do you want to buy a house in Thailand?
When I returned to Thailand, I rented a hotel. After thinking it over, I decided it was better to own a house.
How do you feel after getting the loan approved?
I am happy. I didn’t expect it to happen. Initially, I thought of purchasing in one lump sum but couldn’t save up.
How was your experience with us?
The service is excellent, and the advice is very good.
How does it feel to use income from abroad to buy a house in Thailand?
It’s surprising because I thought it wouldn’t be possible. Usually, when you’re abroad, connecting finances with a Thai bank is challenging. However, I acknowledge that Sun Gateways and Government Housing Bank have excellent and efficient services.
