Q: Was there a lot of adjustment needed to live in Australia?
A: It was a bit difficult at first, but as I lived here longer and tried many different jobs, I gained experience and started to like it here. The most difficult thing was probably “English,” which I had to learn more about, as well as the language, culture, and work customs.

A: I was very worried because I thought that people working abroad like me wouldn’t have any financial institutions that would guarantee or give me the credit to be able to borrow and repay a home loan in Thailand. I’ve inquired at other places, but they didn’t give me much credit.

Q: What are your plans for this house?
A: I intend to demolish the old house, which is almost 40 years old, on the same land to build a new house for my parents and family. Construction is currently about 10% complete.
