Q: What were the most difficult adjustments you had to make when moving to work and live in Sweden?
A: The first thing was the language. Because Sweden doesn’t primarily use English, I had to learn a new language for better job opportunities in my field. They also place a strong emphasis on relevant academic qualifications. If you graduated with a relevant degree, getting a job is easier. The first year is the most difficult. If you get through the first year, you can stay for a long time.

A: I was concerned because, as far as I knew, Thai banks don’t usually approve loans for people working abroad. Especially state-owned banks, I thought it would be even more difficult. A: This house was purchased for my sister and her boyfriend to live in. I myself don’t plan to return to Thailand anytime soon; I’ll probably wait until retirement.
