Q: How long have you been living and working in the UK, and how did you get started?
A: I’ve been in the UK for nearly 10 years. I started with part-time work at age 16 and have been in a full-time role for about two years now.
Q: Did you have to make many adjustments when you first moved to the UK?
A: I had to adjust to the weather and the language. Regarding the language, I had studied a little in Thailand but needed to learn more once I arrived. As for the weather, it took about 6–7 months to get used to it; even in summer, the nights can still be quite cold.

A: I usually visit Thailand about 1–2 times a year. I bought this house for my retirement and to have a place to stay when I visit, so I don’t have to rent a hotel.
