Q: Please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about working in Qatar.
A: My name is Parinya Kultuam—my nickname is Dai—and I’m 27 years old. I currently work as a flight attendant and have been based in Qatar for three years.
Q: Did you have to make many adjustments to work and live in Qatar?
A: The main adjustments were regarding culture and the climate. Since Qatar is in a desert region, the summers are extremely hot and dry—very different from the hot, humid weather back home. The food is different, too. It took me a little over three months to settle in and adapt.
Q: What were your plans for this home loan application?
A: I bought the house for my parents. I also intend to stay there myself whenever I return to Thailand for holidays or vacation breaks. I usually visit Thailand two or three times a year, as my family home is in the provinces, not Bangkok.
