Q: Did you have to adjust a lot to the Korean-Thai climate?
A: I adjusted to the weather and the 2-hour time difference when I first arrived.
Q: How long have you been working in Korea?
A: Over 2 years now.
Q: What obstacles did you face while you were there, besides the weather?
A: Adjusting to my colleagues and the work system was a bit harder than in Thailand.
Q: Do you have many friends there?
A: Yes, I have about 10 friends there. It’s a factory with only Thai employees.
Q: Do you use Korean, or Thai, since there are quite a few Thai people working there?
A: I don’t use it much. I use Thai, but I have to learn it first. I have to practice more so I can communicate with my Korean supervisor there.
Q: Are you worried about how you’ll be able to get a loan while living abroad?
A: I am worried about finding a reliable company because I’ve heard many places have risks. So I need to find a trustworthy and stable company.
Q: How did you find out about Sun Gateway?
A: A friend of my girlfriend’s recommended it. They took out a loan there before and it went smoothly.
Q: Have you applied for a loan elsewhere before, or is this your first time?
A: This is my first time.
Q: Do you plan to come back and live here in the future, or are you buying it for your parents?
A: I plan to come back and live here. I bought it for myself and my family.
Q: Are you planning to return soon, or not yet?
A: Not yet (laughs). But I’m buying it now and saving up for it.
