Applying for a loan from overseas is quite difficult and has time constraints, but the Sun Gateway team followed up and helped coordinate very well. I was very anxious and hopeful, and when I found out it was approved, I felt relieved because it was a goal I had set for this year. I would recommend Thai people living abroad to try consulting them because if you have the documents ready and follow the staff’s advice, everything can be easily done.
Q: Please introduce yourself. What is your name and how old are you?
Ms. Alita: My name is Alita Yamana, and I am 44 years old.
Q: What is your current occupation and where are you located?
Ms. Alita: I work as a chef in Sweden. I’ve been doing this for about 3 years.
Q: Was there a lot of adjustment needed when you first moved to Sweden?
Ms. Alita: There was a lot of adjustment, including the language, the weather, and making friends. I had to start from scratch. Initially, I mainly used English, and then I studied the language for about 6 months before starting work.
Q: Which condo did you decide to buy in Thailand this time?
Ms. Alita: I bought it for myself. I wanted a condo near the sea for relaxation when I travel back to Thailand, and I plan to move back to Thailand in about 5 years.
Q: How did you find out about Sun Gateway?
Ms. Alita: I searched online. I found them on Facebook and followed them, reading details and reviews for about a year and a half. When I first contacted them, I had been working for less than 6 months. The staff advised me to wait until I was older, so I kept following their page and preparing myself.
Q: Were there any concerns or obstacles during the process of preparing the loan documents from abroad?
Ms. Alita: I was worried about the documents. The employment certificate from Sweden takes about 2 months to obtain and has a limited validity period. Initially, the timeline for sending the documents to Thailand didn’t match the bank’s processing time. But I didn’t give up and kept following up until I had all the documents.
Q: What impressed you most about Sun Gateway’s service?
Ms. Alita: It was excellent. The team continuously followed up on the matter and tried to process it as quickly as possible. They provided guidance on each step of the process.
Q: How did you feel when you found out your loan was approved?
Ms. Alita: I felt so relieved because I had set a goal for myself to get the loan approved this year. I’ve had it on my list every year. When it was approved and I flew back to Thailand to sign the contract during my holiday, everything was perfect and went according to plan.
Q: What advice would you give to Thais living abroad who want to own a house or condo in Thailand?
Ms. Alita: I recommend contacting Sun Gateway staff first. Even if you don’t have much work experience, the staff are ready to advise you on the preparation steps. If you have a stable job and prepare all the documents as recommended by the staff, everything will go smoothly.
Thank you for trusting SUN GATEWAY. Congratulations on your new home!
